Hello everyone,
I am new here and would like to introduce myself.
My name is Rick Unruh and I am part of the EAA Chapter 63 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. I'm sorry but my Canadian grade school French language skills are not good at all so I am using the translate feature to compose this.
A group us are working on completing an Emeruade. We just finished painting the plane. We hope to be doing engine and taxi testing this summer. If that checks out OK then we hope to do first flights in September. The next thing I am working on is the Rudder pedal and toe braking system.
The engine we have for the plane is a Lycoming 0235. we have stripped it down for inspection and are now just ready to reassemble it.
I look forward to reading more on the forum and learning from the experience here.
I have been trying to add pictures of our project but I am not having success.

Cheers, Rick

Welcome Rick,

My english is not so good either, but I believe a little better than the free translation software I found on the web so far.
Keep on posting both original text and automatic translation because it is much helpful to refer to the first one when the translation is not clear.

Of course we will make our best to answer your questions.
We are also very interested to see pictures of your Emeraude and the work you have done so far.

Jean-Claude Meunier, from St Tite, Quebec, is another Canadian friend who as built a very nice CP605 “Super Diamant” and flown it for more than 100 hours, counting…
Jean-Claude is also finishing an Emeraude, and perhaps could you contact him through this website to exchange some information.

Enjoy flying,
Philippe Dejean

Hi, Rick !

On the previous message, I made à mistake  writing :
"Jean-Claude Meunier... ...as built a very nice CP605 “Super Diamant” and flown it for more than 100 hours, counting…"

I hope Jean-Claude will excuse me, I should have written :
"Jean-Claude Meunier... ...as built a very nice CP605 “Super Diamant” and flown it for more than 1000 hours, counting…" :avion:

His CP605 is registered C-GUMM

Bons vols
Philippe Dejean
